The Art Museum is located in the former regional Court Building on the grounds of Lutsk Castle. The foreign section presents canvases of the 12th – 20th centuries from Spanish, Italian, Flemish, French, English and Polish schools. In the Ukrainian and Russian sections, which present canvases from the 19th century to the beginning of the 20th century, visitors can get acquainted with the art culture of that period, as well as with many prominent creative personalities of the time.

In 2003 a new exposition of Ukrainian portraits was established. Its basis is material from the family of the dukes of the Radzyviliv Castle in the nearby town of Olyka.  The canvases of the family memorial portrait gallery are very different in their artistic quality, painted mainly by unknown artists or by the court artists of the Radzyvilivs’ dynasty.

Different exhibitions, workshops, creative evenings and presentations often take place in the Art Museum today.
