Art Jazz Cooperation – the last chords of summer

Traditionally Lutsk says goodbye to summer by listening to jazz. Again this year, Art Jazz Cooperation stirred up a cool night in Lutsk Castle with positive emotions and hot music.

Traditionally Lutsk says goodbye to summer by listening to jazz. Again this year, Art Jazz Cooperation stirred up a cool night in Lutsk Castle with positive emotions and hot music.

Art Jazz Cooperation usually takes place in Lutsk and Rivne at the transition of summer into fall. This year was no exception – on the 30th of August, Lutsk citizens and visitors who decided to say goodbye to summer in Lutsk witnessed an amazing music event in the ancient castle. Rivne also had a very good time on the weekend, but we’re not talking about it ;)

The fine jazz evening, celebrating this amazing music genre, was shared with all the fans of jam music by the honorable guests of the festival: Consul general of Republic of Poland in Lutsk Beata Bzhyvchy, the Head of the Volyn Oblast Department of Culture Volodymyr Lysiuk, deputy of the Lutsk City Council Anatoliy Parkhomiuk and the President of Lutsk Jazz Club Oleg Bakovs’kyi.

The headliner of this year’s show, Frank Parker and his colleagues from Poland and Ukraine, prepared a special program “Looking Forward to Our Meeting”. Before Frank Parker’s performance, guests of the festival listened to Lutsk band “Plastylin”, famous far beyond our city, and Kyiv’s “Bloom Band”. And, of course, the program was embellished by musical improvisations to close out the evening.

At the end of the festival in Lutsk, participants enjoyed not only a jazz jam, but also a dramatic fire show.
