The Museum of Bells in Lutsk Castle is the only museum of its kind in Ukraine. The museum contains bells of 17-20 centuries. The museum exhibits not only church bells, but also school, rail, post, ship, etc. In total, the museum collection has more than 90 bells. Some bells are decorated with a small ornament for religious motives. The largest bells in the collection weigh almost half a ton. The oldest bell in the collection (made in 1647) is extremely rare in Ukraine, because many bells were melted into guns during the Cossack wars. This bell remembers the times of Bohdan Khmelnytsky.
In winter time museum is open to visitors from 10.00 to 17.00.
