This is stated on the page of the Ukrainian Association of Patrons of UKROP on Facebook .
Exactly 5 years ago, the Verkhovna Rada adopted so-called Laws on the dictatorship. The deputies saw their texts after the vote, namely, it occurred through the usual raising of hands, without the use of the system “Rada”. The then president signed them the next day.
The aforementioned legislative acts literally put Ukrainian civil society on their knees. They solved the hands of the authorities and gave the opportunity to punish the protesters, as well as equalizing the opposition of criminal elements.
The reluctance to punish the perpetrators in these events, the reluctance to investigate crimes against activists and journalists, and many other steps, the acting authorities continue to follow the path that Yanukovich and his followers laid down. Moreover, more than 60 deputies who adopted the “Laws on the dictatorship” still “represent” the interests of the people in parliament.
