Sapalaivka
The Sapalaivka River is a right tributary of the Styr, flowing through the city of Lutsk and Lutsk district of Volyn region. It has a length of 12.4 km (8.3 km within Lutsk) and a basin area of 39.2 km².
House of the sculptor Mykola Holovan
In addition to Lutsk Castle, there is another interesting building on the banks of the river Styr. It has already been called the Second Castle or local house with chimeras. This masterpiece is owned by Mykola Holovan, who has been creating it for almost 40 years.
Museum of Bells
The Museum of Bells in Lutsk Castle is the only museum of its kind in Ukraine. It is located in the Bishop’s tower of 14 century. The largest bell in the collection weigh is 350 kilograms. The oldest bell in the collection (made in 1647) is extremely rare in Ukraine, because many bells were melted into guns during the Cossack wars. This bell remembers the times of Bohdan Khmelnytsky.
Book Museum
The Book Museum is housed in the former building of treasury in Lutsk Castle. The museum exhibits books of the 17-20 centuries.
