This is the first museum of its kind in Ukraine, where examples of technical progress are collected, starting from the simplest devices of primitive times to the present day, as well as a chronograph with illustrations and samples of the most important inventions of mankind. The purpose of creating such a museum is noble and carries both an educational character and the popularization of the achievements of humanity as a whole. After all, every year new inventions appear in the world, and there is a rapid transition to nanotechnology. Therefore, the museum’s task is to preserve for future generations rare exhibits that characterize entire eras of scientific and technological progress.
The museum’s exhibition includes more than 1,500 exhibits that demonstrate the history of invention, which is the driving force of progress, because the invention of the first tool marked the beginning of human history. Throughout history, it is invention that has helped humans master nature, from the discovery of fire to space flight.
The museum focuses on the period of intensive development of radio technology, photo and video equipment, communication systems, watches, etc. In general, the entire museum exhibition is divided into several modules, where real exhibits of technical progress are presented.

The Chortoryiski princes Tower is the only one of the 8 towers of the Lutsk Lower (Okolnyi) Castle that has survived to this day. The Museum space «Okolnyi Castle» is a modern historical part of the defensive structure of Lutsk from the 14th – 17th centuries. The Upper Lutsk Castle was rebuilt from wooden fortifications to stone ones between the late 14th and 15th centuries. The first line of defensive of the Upper Castle, the Okolnyi Castle, began its transformation in the early 16th century, when wooden towers were gradually replaced with stone structures.
In addition to the above-ground city, Lutsk has an extensive network of underground tunnels. The two levels of the underground city housed sacred objects, a refectory, a prison, and tombs. There are many legends about the unique two-level underground complex, the entrance to which is located beneath the Cathedral of St. Peter and St. Paul. Their height is particularly impressive, reaching almost 8 meters in some places.
