Vorotniv is a botanical reserve of national importance in Ukraine. It is located within the Lutsk district of Volyn Oblast, in the north of Vorotniv village. Its area is 600 hectares. The status was granted in 1978.
It is managed by State Enterprise “Kivertsi forestry” (Lutsk District, quarters 125-130, 132-148). It is located on the forested hills of the northwestern part of the Rivne plateau. Root hornbeam-oak and derivatives of hornbeam-birch, oak-ash plantations with many species of Polissya and forest-steppe vegetation are protected. In total, the flora of the reserve contains more than 900 species of higher plants. The undergrowth is thinned, represented by buckthorn, hazel, European cowberry.
In the grass-shrub cover there are lily of the valley, European ungulate, wolfberries, as well as forest lily, green flower, cinquefoil, common nest, listed in the Red Book of Ukraine. The fauna is represented by common species including a rare black stork, listed in the Red Book of Ukraine. The reserve has scientific and educational value.
